Drive Medics Data Recovery Complaints and Reviews
Written by Administrator

Jeff Phillips has started a new company called Drive Medics Data Recovery. The new company is located at 3425 Murphy Canyon Rd. Ste B, San Diego, CA 92123. He is using the phone number 858-560-3282. Jeff was even dumb enough to call me (using the name Malcom) to let me know that he has a new business. I already knew about it thanks to the growing number of you that have contacted me via this web site.

Please note Drive Medics is the same bad company as San Diego Computers with the same criminal Jeff Phillips in control. Do NOT give them your business, they will rip you off.

Good news is that Jeff Phillips and San Diego Computers have officially filled for Bankruptcy! He is also in default to his landlord at the Murphy Canyon address. We heard that there was going to be a lockout done on him by the Sheriff and one super diligent member of this site arranged a little face-to-face party for him for the special occasion. Here is the report...

"We had an excellent turnout: xxx, xxxx, xxxxx, xxxxx, the landlord and his contractor, plus a locksmith. When the Sheriff’s Deputies came, the locksmith got to work. At that point Jeff came flying out of the back room to the door and presented the Sheriff’s Deputies with a copy of his bankruptcy filing for himself as an individual and SD Computers, Inc. This stopped the lockout, unfortunately. This decision stood despite several calls between the landlord’s attorney and the Sheriff’s Deputies, who were sympathetic to us, but couldn’t help further."

If anybody has been burned by this guy, please contact me through the form on this web site. I have some information you are going to want. Let's get this guy shutdown and locked up so he doesn't take advantage of anybody else.

Do not do business with San Diego Computers
Written by Administrator

The purpose of this site is to document the fraudulent business practices of San Diego Computers and San Diego Consultants. These two companies use the phone numbers (858) 523-1633 and (619) 977-7340. They are currently advertising in San Diego Computor Edge Magazine. It is our hope to discover even more people that have had a horrible time dealing with these amateurs.

We also hope to gain enough exposure for this site so that anybody doing due dilligence on this company will quickly realize that San Diego Computers and San Diego Consultants are not to be trusted.

 Here are few quick facts....

  • San Diego Computers used to claim on their web site to be members of the San Diego Better Business Bureau. This is a complete lie. They are not members and in fact there are 15 complaints against San Diego Computers and San Diego Consultants with the San Diego BBB in the last 36 months. This leaves them with an unsatisfactory rating from the San Diego BBB.

Here is a link to the San Diego BBB Complaints against San Diego Computers and San Diego Consultants

  • They will NOT tell you their last names or the location that the perform the work on your equipment. This, they claim, is a matter of company security policy. You CAN NOT meet with the technician in person and you CAN NOT inspect their data recovery center. They have two drop off locations where you must go to get your hardware when you want it back.

  • They repeatedly lied about critical repair and billing information, and even when directly confronted with these lies, refused to admit it.

If you feel comfortable dealing with a company like this then there is nothing more for you on this site. If, however, you would like to learn more about our experience with San Diego Computers and San Diego Consultants, please check back on this site to learn more about our complaint with San Diego Computers and San Diego Consultants.

My bad ongoing experience with San Diego Computers
Written by QBN

A visitor to this site posted this bad experience with San Diego Computers.

My partner and I dropped off 2 broken hard drives for repair at one of the drop-off locations for San Diego Computers in December 2005. (There are drop-off locations since the company is trying to maintain a secure facility.) It's nearing July 2006. The company still has our hard drives and apparently recovered data. Here are examples of what our dealings with this company have been like for us in the past 6-7 months:
